I am associate professor at Grenoble INP-Ensimag, and a member of the LIG lab, in the Drakkar group [web page]. All this is in Grenoble, France.

I obtained a PhD from INPG in January 1999. While working on my PhD I was a Bull engineer, part of the technical staff at the OSF Research Institute.

Research

My main interests are in networking. Lately I have been working mostly on wireless LANs, wireless sensor networks, mobility and security. Previous projects dealt also with quality of service, extended LANs, multimedia.

Service discovery and autoconfiguration are the way to go to turn computers from a real pain to helpful devices, and there is still some work to be done there!

Publications.
