Research Statement

Distributed and autonomous planning as well as multiagent systems and artificial intelligence in general are the main topics of my research works. Currently, I resort to those approaches in order to automatically generate User Interfaces and compose web services. Moreover, we have implemented a multiagent toolkit with a distributed planning framework, CoRe (Conjecture/Refutation), that can be downloaded here under CeCILL license.

Biographical Sketch

I received my Ph.D. degree from SUPAERO (Ecole nationale supérieure de l'aéronautique et de l'espace) and the ONERA (Office National d'Etudes et Recherches Aérospatiales) in 1998. My dissertation (in French) is about multiagent cooperation formalization. In 1999, I visited the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence group at the LAAS (Laboratoire d'Analyse et d'Architecture des Systèmes) as postdoctoral fellow. There, my research work which was supported by the DGA (Délégation Générale à l'Armement) focused on AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle) cooperation. Short after, I became a member of the Magma team and assistant professor in computer science at the Joseph Fourier University.
